COVID 19 Following the closure of The Butterfly Room during the Covid-19 lockdown, we are now reopen for face to face sessions but with some limitations. The limitations have been put in place to reduce the risk of transmission and keep both practitioners and clients safe. As per Government guidelines you or your child should not attend The Butterfly Room if you, your child or a member of your household is displaying any of the following symptoms:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
Should your therapist contract Covid-19, they will need to provide details of all the people they have come into contact with to the NHS Track and Trace service, please read our Covid-19 Contingency Clause for details on how this affects your confidentiality.
In order to ensure that we reduce the risk of infection between therapist and client, we have undertaken a full
Covid-19 risk assessment and implemented certain procedures and measures to reduce infection risk. We greatly value your cooperation in enabling us to implement these new safety measures.
